I was suprised this came out. I just set the camera against the
glass and took the picture - this part of the castle isn't open
to the public.

Achnabrek. These marks date back to approx 5000 BC. There are various
theories as to why these rocks are covered with prehistoric "cup
and ring" marks. My own theory is that this is a practice board.

A closer look at a cup and ring mark. As old as these are, I wonder
how deep they were when originally cut?

A standing stone and cairn on the road between Craobh Haven and
Kilmartin. Kilmartin Valley is quite famou for prehistoric stones
- I believe I read there are over 350 prehistoric sites within a
6 mile radius of Kilmartin village.

A panorama of the view from the back porch at Buidhe Lodge - it's
a bit shortened, but covers a full 180 degrees. The little island
on the left has two seals on it.

It took some work, trying to take photos through a telescope, but
I got this one good picture of seals on this bit of island. They
like to hang out here when the tide's low. When it's high, the island
vanishes, and thus the pole.
