Caerlaverlock is an interesting castle, looking nearly complete from the front, but ruined down to the foundations in places in the back.

The trebuchet at the castle. This is the one built in a BBC special (Time Team, perhaps?) if you've seen it. The other one built stands at Urquart Castle, on Loch Ness.

Sweetheart Abbey, as small as it is compared to others we've seen, still towers over the small village of New Abbey.
