An unusual Tandem turnout. Note there's no stiff tounge or anything holding the lead horse out in front. Course, doesn't look like he's doing much work here, either - see how loose the chains seem to be?

The Kangaroo Kid jumping his ATV, which sounded suspiciously like a motorcycle. He was a big hit with the kids.

We decided to take a half-day from work, and finish what we missed at the Show. John took these pictures on the 15th with his new Sony digital camera. This is a diminutive steam engine, running very quietly - note the coal shuttle where a seat would be if this was the tractor it resembles.

It's raining, but I'm dry with my cool Tilley hat and my brand-new (bought it at the show yesterday) jacket! We'd stopped so I could have my required strawberries-and-Belgian-chocolate. John, of course, had a coffee.

Huge crowds on Wednesday. Last year, over 127,000 people attended the Great Yorkshire Show.
