No more dragons
Was taking a morning walk, and saw something that from a distance looked like a Perentie (this one would have been about 3' long). I was sort of surprised at how sad I was, to realize that this was not possible, and I'd no longer have the opportunity to see many lizards in my daily life.
Yea, I've not blogged in a while. There's really no point to try to catch up, here's the short version:
1. We left in June
2. We traveled across the US
3. We arrived in Virginia in early July
4. We just went back to work.
5. I have my truck, but we're still waiting for our household effects; we're told next week, hopefully.
6. We are camping out in our house: Got an LCD TV and a home theater system (and a coffee table) but we watch TV from camping chairs, and sleep on an aerobed.
Anyway, today's big excitement was lunch at Arby's, the first time I've had a Beef 'n Cheddar since we returned. I missed them. Also, the computer show is on at the convention center, that's tomorrow's big day. Can't wait!
