Installing XP
Well, I'm finally doing it. I've resisted for years, but at this very moment I'm installing XP on my primary PC.
Problem is, I'm doing it for the second time, 'cause I screwed the first one up in record time.
How?
Well, I went through the install, loaded the mobo and video drivers, *then* rearranged my drives. I keep all my apps in a separate partition, and I wanted to make sure the apps in there still work, so I renamed it. After loading apps that Windows probably looks at.
Though, in truth, I've done this before without issue.
This time though, after a reboot, I could get to a picture in someone's account, but the start bar and icons would never show up. So, I'm reinstalling. What fun.
