Walking around a neighborhood near my hotel in Sydney, I saw an Ibis on a fence. Apparently it wasn't popular with another local bird.

One of the first places we always visit when we're back in NoVa. Our favorite computer store.

Getting snowed on was quite exciting, seeing I had left weather that was around 95f. Unfortunatly, it stopped snowing shortly after this.

These were some of the first photos taken with my new 70-300mm lens.

I hadn't seen mountains in as long as I hadn't seen snow, so first chance I got I headed west. This was taken from the lookouts at Lookout Mountain (Pahaska Teepee), with my 300mm lens, handheld.

Yup, there's two of them. The other's on the North Fork near Cody, my next stop.

Looking down at Boulder, CO. The Coors factory is just on the right, in the trees, I think.

Jodi's Seat - a spot of rocks on our property, I sat here for a while, enjoying the quiet, mountain views, from our very own property. Also enjoyed the Dr. Pepper, hadn't had one in years.

Clarks Fork Canyon National Recreation Area, which is only a couple of miles away from our place. This is where the paved road ends, though there's a 4WD road visible down by the river.

Sad story. Some years ago, a car full of local youths drove off the end of the road, and died here. I remember these memorial sites, scattered among the yucca, from years past.

Heart Mountain, from Hwy 120 between Cody and Clark. This is an interesting mountain, as the rock at the top is an erratic (left by a glacier) and is older on top than underneath.

The barn at the equestrian center of Northwest College. It has undergone some major improvements since I went to school here, though in actuality it looks nearly identical. I used to keep Tanina in one of the stalls on the left that has bags leaning against the walls.

Northwest College Equestrian center, looking back toward the college. When I went to school here, there was only one round corral.

Part of Northwest College. That big Carillion was built after I left, but the rest of the view looks pretty much the same as it did in the 80s.

I love this! This is my first computer, a Commodore Vic20, which has ended up in the college's 'antique computers' display. I know it's mine because I stuck on the piece of paper, containing a peek command (don't remember what it did), back in the late 70s.

Bridger Hall was the all-girls dorm when I lived here. Later it was coed, but sadly, burnt down in March 2004. Nobody was seriously hurt.

Downtown Powell, Wyoming. Spent a lot of time between Hansels' and what's now called the Peaks (used to be Granpa's). Hansels would open for breakfast as it closed for alcohol, and for what I remember being about $1.90, you could get a gigantic plate of Hansel's Fries with "secret seasoning" (probably Old Bay) and little tubs of Roquefort dressing. That and a pitcher of beer and we were all set. Granpas had live music and a dance floor.
